House Lloyd

The Lloyd family contacted Creative Stone to assist with transforming several spaces in their home which were undergoing some extensive renovations.

The main areas we looked at were the driveways, front entrance, pool area, garden retaining walls, and an outdoor shower area. The brief was simple, use warm tones and transform the different spaces.

The design team measured up the site and went back to put together a contemporary and timeless design with the use of our Flamed Granite Flagstone and Cobble ranges for all paved areas as well as using our Inca Ledgestone Rose cladding as a feature on the walls.

We decided to opt for a Charcoal Herringbone cobble pattern on the driveway, this is an amazing pattern that will not date and really draws you up the driveway.

This was then framed with a Mushroom cobble border. All the planter boxes on the verge were designed to make use of our bullnoses and cladding to bring a touch of grandeur to the front of the property.

The pool area was kept low key with a larger format, Flamed Granite flagstone in Mushroom in a simple straight pattern. This tied in beautifully with a cladded water feature.

A large retaining wall was then designed and built with a central staircase. This created 2 different spaces in the garden. The retaining walls were cladded with our Ledgestone Rose cladding and the steps and wall tops were then finished off with our Flamed Granite bullnoses. We also catered for some LED strip lighting hidden in a grove under the bullnoses.
