Cobble Driveway, Pool Flagstone Paving & Stone Cladding

A residential renovation focused on redefining the driveway, entrance, pool area and garden through a cohesive combination of cobble paving, flagstone surfaces and stone cladding.

This project reflects a balanced approach between structure and softness. Defined paving patterns, raised walls, and clean edges create a sense of order, while natural stone textures and warm tonal variation ensure the space remains inviting.

Each element — from driveway to pool to garden — is connected through material consistency, allowing the entire exterior to read as one cohesive environment.

COBBLE DRIVEWAY (HERRINGBONE PATTERN)

The driveway is designed to create a strong sense of arrival. Using charcoal cobble pavers in a herringbone pattern, the layout naturally draws movement toward the entrance while adding rhythm and structure to the space.

The contrasting mushroom cobble border softens the transition into surrounding planting and architectural elements, grounding the driveway within the broader landscape.

POOL & PATIO FLAGSTONE PAVING

Around the pool, the design shifts to a more open and relaxed feel. Large-format flamed granite flagstone in a mushroom tone is laid in a simple, straight pattern — allowing the space to feel expansive and uncluttered.

The result is a calm, functional area that complements the home without competing with it.

RETAINING WALLS & STONE CLADDING FEATURES

The garden is structured through a series of retaining walls and level changes, creating defined yet connected outdoor zones.

These walls are finished in Rosa Ledgestone cladding, introducing layered texture and warmth. Flamed granite bullnose edging is used to cap walls and steps, bringing consistency across all transitions, while integrated lighting beneath the edges adds a subtle, considered detail in the evenings.
